Hi guys! I’ve had TONS of questions recently about how I do my makeup, or asking what products I use. So I thought it would be super helpful if I created a post to show what products I use! Just a little warning, my make-up posts will be a lot longer than other post as I go quite in depth with my products and how I use them!
This makeup look is the one I opt to go for every day, for work, the weekend.. Anything! It’s that one look I can always rely on!

I wear this look either with or without foundation, depending on how I’m feeling! I try my best not to wear foundation all the time as I love to let my skin breathe, although if I’m having a bad skin day (that time of the month.. you girls know) I will wear it for a little self-esteem boost.
First things first, before I apply my makeup I will ALWAYS wash my face and then apply a moisturiser. I tend to use the Clinique Dramatically Different moisturising gel which I find works amazingly well for me as I have really oily skin - I would 100% recommend this product to anyone who suffers from the same problem, I’ve used this moisturiser for years now it would take a hell of a lot for me to swap to another!
After that I apply a primer - again, something that tends to be good for oily skin. I still don’t think I’ve found the perfect primer for me as of yet, so at the moment I keep trying out new ones in hope I find the right one! (fingers crossed) I've recently started using the Maybelline Infallible Mattifying Base - so far so good!

For my foundation I use MAC Studio Fix Fluid in the shade NC42. This is quite a dark foundation, however having just got back from holiday it matches perfect with my tan. I always match my foundation to my neck rather than to my face as my face is always much more pale than my body, even when I haven’t got a tan.
For concealer I use MAC pro longwear in the shade NC25 which is a recent newbie for me. I’ve never used a ‘high end’ concealer before as for some reason I always used to go for cheaper brands, but so far I love it!! I apply my foundation with a beauty blender, and my concealer with a Real Techniques Deluxe Crease brush.

I’ve recently started using this cream contour palette* by Iconic London as opposed to my usual powder contouring. (excuse the mess!) I don’t really find cream contouring any easier or better compared to powder contouring, it just depends on how much time I have on my hands.
I don’t think the colours have names so I’ve numbered them up for you! I use number 1 to highlight, and then to contour I use number 2. When I highlight I apply the product in a triangle shape underneath my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, and just below the centre of my forehead. I will then set this with the Anastasia Beverly Hills ‘Banana’ powder.

Going on to bronzer I use MAC’s Bronzing Powder in the shade ‘Matte Bronze’. I prefer to use a matte bronzer because shimmer bronzers.. Not for me. If I haven’t used cream contour then my next step would be contouring.
I recently picked up a MAC blush in the shade ‘Plum Foolery’ at the airport which I have since become OBSESSED with. Literally. Obsessed. I feel like it would be really difficult to go over the top with this colour as iit's quite a sheer toned blush. It does have a little bit of glitter in it which I think helps it blend seamlessly with my highlight.

The highlight which I use in this look is MAC’s Soft and Gentle. Believe me when I say I’ve had this product for YEARS now, and it doesn’t even look used!

Going on to eyebrows and eyes, my holy grail product has got to be my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow pomade in the colour ‘Chocolate’. Before applying this product I use a Maybelline brow pencil just to roughly map out my desired shape.

For my eyes I primed them with MAC’s soft ochre paint pot, and used the shade ‘Brule’ (number 1) in the crease, and used ‘Woodwinked’ (number 2) all over the lid. I then used the shade ‘Embark’ (number 3 ) in the outer corner which I then brought up into the crease just to deepen it a little. For under my eyes I also used ‘Woodwinked’ and a little bit of ‘Embark’ in the outer corner.

My current mascara is the Rimmel Wake Me Up mascara, which I love because it suuuuuper black! To create my winged eyeliner I used the Collection Fast Stroke eyeliner, and for lashes I used the Red Cherry lashes in the number ‘415’

To create my lip coour I first lined my lips with MAC’s ‘Soar’ Lip Liner, and applied a MAC lipstick in the shade ‘sunny seoul’. To add a little extra shine I added a small amount of ‘steppin’ out’ dazzleglass lip gloss, also by MAC.

I know this has been SUCH a lengthy post and a HUGE load of information to take in, but I hope this post has been super helpful and answered any questions! Here is the finished look!
